Set up an AI assistant for your grandma

This is the guide from the first @JupiterOdds video: setting up an AI agent for a grandma. You sit with her, install a personal agent on her phone, and say the line.

It asks a few questions, one at a time, then helps with the things that usually end in a phone call to you. Scam Check matters most here: scammers often call older people pretending to be a grandchild in trouble, so the guide makes "is this real?" a habit and helps your family pick a code word.

On her phone, tell her personal agentread guide.studio/grandma

Before you start

  • A personal agent installed on her phone, not yours.
  • You, sitting next to her while it sets up.

If you start on your own phone, the agent will suggest moving to her, since that's where the help needs to live.

What it sets up

01

Bills

Keeps a list of bills and due dates and sends reminders. They always approve and pay.

02

Calendar

Keeps track of appointments and reminds them ahead of time.

03

Email

Reads and explains emails, and drafts replies they approve before anything is sent.

04

Ask Anything

Phone and tech help in plain words, one step at a time.

05

Scam Check

Checks a suspicious text, call or email, and knows when to say "call your family."

06

Morning brief

Optional: a short message each morning with today's appointments, bills due soon and important email.

Works with

Personal agents that remember, connect to email and calendar, and ask before acting. Regular AI chat apps and Siri can't finish this setup.

  • Meta's Muse
  • Grok Bot
  • Claude Duet
  • ChatGPT dots
  • OpenClaw

The privacy promise

Never asks for passwords, card numbers, account numbers or bank logins.

Answers stay with the agent on her phone. Nothing is sent to guide.studio or anyone else.

The agent asks before it saves, connects or schedules anything.

Anything that sends a message or pays a bill needs her OK first.

Questions

She isn't comfortable with phones. Can she still use it?

Yes. She can talk to it out loud or send it a screenshot, and it explains one step at a time in plain words. The guide also asks about anything that makes phones harder for her, like small text or hearing, and adjusts.

What's the family code word for?

Scammers can fake a relative's voice on the phone. A word only your family knows is a simple way to check a scary call. The guide suggests one and tells the agent not to save it.

Can I do this for my grandpa too?

Yes. On his phone, tell his agent "read guide.studio slash grandpa." It's the same guide, and it knows who it's for.

The guide your agent reads

When you say the line, the agent opens guide.studio/grandma. That address is the guide itself, as plain text written for the agent: what to explain first, the questions to ask one at a time, and how to set up each step safely.
